Fulfilling the wish that Carlos Marin expressed before passing away on December 19 at a Manchester hospital at the complications derived from Covid, the artist’s mortal remains were veiled this Monday at the San Isidro mortuary in Madrid, where, in addition to numerous admirers, his closest relatives and the love of his life, Geraldine Larrosa, came.

Completely devastated for having lost the man with whom she shared 16 years of her life and with whom she always maintained a close relationship, the artist known as Innocence confessed without being able to contain her tears upon arrival at the burning chapel that, despite not having gone public, they had resumed their relationship during the pandemic and had planned to go through the altar again. Something that, unfortunately, will no longer happen.
After this public farewell to the singer, this Tuesday morning Carlos was cremated in the strictest privacy at the express wish of his family.
Scenes of pain in his mother, in his sister and especially in Geraldine upon arrival at the funeral home and during the brief response – presided over by an image of the baritone – with which they have said their last goodbye to the artist.
