An authority involved in the operation commented that the minors were “tired, thirsty and with some mosquito bites, but otherwise they are in good health.”
Two children have been rescued this Tuesday after being lost for almost 24 hours in a wooded area of the Australian state of New South Wales, local media collect. The images of the exact moment of the meeting were recorded by a police helicopter.
The disappearance of the children, aged 14 and 12, was reported Monday in the rural town of Kains Flat after they went for a walk and did not return. An intensive search was carried out immediately and they were finally found Tuesday at noon in an area of lush vegetation.
An authority involved in the operation, quoted by 9News, commented that the children were “tired, thirsty and with some mosquito bites, but otherwise are in good health.”
