Mexico City /
The federal deputy, Gerardo Fernández Noroña, shared a tweet with the image of a poll, which positions him as the “ideal successor” to President Andrés Manuel López Obrador.
The survey was carried out by the YouTube channel “TuProfeDeRI Jesús López Almejo”, which disseminates free video courses on the discipline of international relations, according to the information in that space.
In this mechanism, in which anyone with internet access can participate, ask the following: “Of the Mexican officials who have made public their aspirations for the presidential candidacy for 2024, who do you think is the ideal successor to AMLO, going in alliance for Morena, PT and Green? “.
In the answer options are the names, in addition to Noroña, the name of Marcelo Ebrard, Secretary of Foreign Relations; Claudia Sheinbaum, Head of Government of Mexico City, and Senator Ricardo Monreal.
According to the survey, until 10:00 p.m. today, 5 thousand 653 users have voted, of which, 43 percent went to Noroña; Ebrard, 37%; Sheinbaum, 20% and Monreal, one percent.
About the poll, Noroña shared the capture of it only pointing out that it was about that, since “a survey is carried out with a representative sample under a statistical sampling”.
Noroña has expressed his interest in being a presidential candidate for 2024, like Ebrard and Monreal; Sheinbaum has neither ruled out nor confirmed his intentions for that electoral process.
