November 25 marks the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women.
Given this, feminist groups announced that for this Thursday, November 25, on the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, they will carry out a march from the Angel of Independence to the capital’s Zócalo starting at 4:00 p.m.
The reason for the mega march is to demand that the authorities eradicate violence against women, which is why they asked the capital authorities to allow them a free demonstration in the streets of the capital.

Before the announcement of the mobilization, today capital police began to install fences in buildings and businesses on Avenida Juárez.
The Palacio de Bellas Artes and the Hemiciclo a Juárez are some of the buildings that are already fenced in to avoid damage.
Some of the streets through which the demonstration will pass are Avenida Juárez and Reforma, so it is expected that more fences will be installed on both roads shortly.
